Climate Change Intern

Location: Washington, DC

Oceana is working to protect the oceans from the duel threats of climate change and ocean acidification. Oceana is currently working to educate about the threats of ocean acidification and climate change and prevent them by advocating for the regulation of global warming pollutants from international shipping, the prevention of expanded offshore drilling, and the development of offshore wind farms.

The successful applicant(s) will spend a considerable portion of their time undertaking research and writing projects related to the impacts of climate change and ocean acidification on the oceans. There will be opportunities to accompany staff to Congressional and Administration meetings, attend hearings, and network with other ocean advocates.
