SeaWeb's Marine Photobank and the Project AWARE Foundation have
announced the winners of the first annual Ocean in Focus Conservation Photography Contest.
The winning photos highlight the impact of fishing gear and marine debris -- including the image you see here, which shows a sea turtle entangled in fishing gear.
The grand prize photo features a California sea lion caught in a deep water gill net.
