DOLPHINS
Dolphins are among the most intelligent of all creatures. With a friendly appearance and playful attitude, these charismatic mega-fauna are a favorite of many humans. But commercial fishing methods, such as fishing with purse seines and gillnets, pose a major threat to Flipper and his nearly 40 species of cousins. Without intervention, the fate of these dolphin species will remain highly uncertain.
