No ocean conservation group would be complete without a presence on the water. Custom-built in 1986 for Seventh-Day Adventists as a hospital ship, Ranger was donated to Oceana by one of our boardmembers, Steve McAllister. Since then, it has sailed from the Pacific to the Mediterranean gathering invaluable research and documenting illegal fishing.

Mechanical	Isuzu diesels ( 2×150 HP ), Hurth transmissions. Counter-rotating feathering MaxiProps. Extra pair 3-blade propellers. Dual ram hydraulic steering with destroyer wheel.
