At the beginning of May, the Oceana Ranger inaugurated its 2007 Expedition, which took place in the Mediterranean Sea. The Oceana Ranger pursued several different campaigns with the aim of protecting the Oceans.
Besides identifying and documenting illegal fishing activities, the Oceana Ranger researched vulnerable marine habitats and protected marine areas and recorded damage made to some seabeds as a consequence of destructive fishing.
