Alicia joined Oceana as the Head of Events and Marketing in June 2015 after working for several years in the academic sector.
While serving as the commercial director of the School of Ecomics of the Faculty of Business and Economics of a renowned Chilean private university, Alicia was in charge of the commercial strategies of the faculty as well as objectives aiming to accelerate growth. She oversaw the growth of academic degree programs such as MBAs and other finance degrees.
Previous, Alicia studied Communications and Corporate Public Relations. As a child, she was always very close to the ocean, as she lived in a coastal city in the north of Chile, so she is happy to contribute to Oceana's important mission.
