Becca Antonopolos - Oceana

Becca Antonopolos

Senior Data Systems Administrator

Oceana Staff

Becca joined Oceana in 2018 as the IT Data Systems Analyst, after previously serving as the Pacific Administrative Assistant until 2017. Originally from Maryland, a passion for the Arctic brought Becca to Alaska in 2012 after graduating from Boston University with a degree in Ecology and Conservation Biology.

Becca first fell in love with the ocean while growing up exploring the tide pools of Monterey Bay and Half Moon Bay, California. Then after spending two summers watching humpback whales playing and eating in the waters of Juneau, Becca found herself in complete awe of Southeast Alaska and the ocean that surrounds it and connects us to other people and places. She loves that working for Oceana allows her to combine her love of this unique habitat with her passion for problem solving using the incredible power of technology to help support Oceana’s mission. Becca is an avid runner, enjoys playing in a local Zimbabwean marimba band, and chasing her two wacky husky-mutts, Dodo and Niyaa, around on all the local hiking trails.
