BA in Communication Sciences by the University of Lima, with Master’s Degree in Public Policy Management. Graduate studies in Social Projects, Corporate Communications and Institutional Image. Over 20 years of professional experience in public and private institutions, as well as in national and international NGOs.
Liz worked as Communications Manager of the Democracia Activa-Perú (DAP) program, funded by AED and USAID. She also held the position of Director of Public and Political Advocacy in Coordinadora Nacional de Radio and Communications Advisor for the Congress of the Republic of Peru ‘s Education Committee. Furthermore, she performed as Communications Officer for Oxfam Peru and Coordinator of the Information and Communications Department at the Consortium for the Sustainable Development of the Andean Ecoregion – CONDESAN. During her fruitful administration at Peru’s Ministry of Culture, Liz was in charge of all communications in the Directorate of Indigenous Peoples in Isolation and Initial Contact – PIACI.
Radio is her deepest passion. She has hosted different radio programs, such as “La Buena Educación” from Peru’s Ministry of Education – broadcasted nationally by Radio Capital. Liz is currently a Professor of Radio at Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas – UPC.
Liz is founder and active member of the Network of Environmental Journalists in Latin America and the Caribbean. She is also a facilitator for courses related to strategic communications, communications campaigns, public and political advocacy, media training and radio production.
