Lesley, a Philadelphia native and Philadelphia Eagles fan, came on board in October 2017 to manage Oceana’s awesome help desk. She has 15 years of experience in Information Technology.

When asked why she chose a career in IT, she said her Father suggested it due to her hyper-active nature as a child, her need for constant mental stimulation, her knack for “figuring things out”, and to pay the bills. She says she doesn’t regret it; being a woman in IT is both challenging and rewarding.

Her life outside of Oceana consists of volunteering for two organizations: ByteBack which provides technology related skills to underprivileged adults in the DC area and Girls in Tech where she mentors high-school girls who are interested in IT. She also enjoys traveling, listening to live music, spending time with friends and family, and living in DC like a tourist.
