Do you want to make a difference protecting and restoring the abundance of the oceans? Oceana Mexico is looking for a Habitat Campaign Director, this position will plan, develop, implement and win Oceana’s policy campaigns. The Campaign Director will lead policy campaigns designed to make changes in transparency, fisheries, ocean habitat and other related topics.

The ideal candidate must have strong leadership, management, strategic thinking skills, and a background in habitat, fisheries policy and wildlife conservation are essential to the success of the campaigns. This is a full-time position based in Mexico City. This position woks closely and reports to the Vice President for Oceana in Mexico.

Founded in 2001, Oceana is the world’s largest nonprofit organization focused solely on restoring the resilience and abundance of the ocean. We achieve measurable change by conducting specific, science-based campaigns with fixed deadlines and articulated goals. Our campaigns extend to countries that, combined, govern nearly one-third of the world’s wild-caught fish, including Belize, Brazil, Chile, Mexico, Peru, the Philippines, the United States, Canada and the 27 countries in the European Union.
