Communications Manager, Global Fisheries Transparency Coalition

Are you a communications professional with experience running international communication campaigns and an understanding of the challenges facing our world’s oceans? Come join the team helping to build and launch a global coalition of civil society partners seeking to bring transparency and greater accountability to the national and international policies that govern our fisheries and conserve our seas.

Reporting to the coalition director, the communications manager will be responsible for co-developing and implementing the global outreach strategy that will bring urgency and attention to the need for transparency in how we manage our oceans. The manager will work collaboratively with their peers in the coalition members’ communication departments to best leverage their platforms and coordinate messaging.

Ideally, you bring experience in the development of communication strategies for fisheries and/or marine policy-change campaigns. You have international experience, working cross-culturally with multiple partners in delivering on a set of shared objectives. Strong candidates will have real-world experience in.
