Beatriz Ribeiro, born and raised in Brasilia, is in the last year of Journalism at Catholic University of Brasilia and studied English through Journalism in Canada.

She joined Oceana as a communications intern and has many experiences with the team. She has always been very curious and interested in what goes on in the depths of the seas, until the answers of her questions were found in Oceana’s work. Beatriz is dedicated to making more and more people strive for the protection and conservation of the oceans and she believes that we are individually a drop, but all together, we are a sea of ideas.
