Carlo is a lawyer with over a decade of experience in public advocacy, government relations, and policy development.

Even during his time in the University of the Philippines (where he obtained a B.A. in Political Science and a Juris Doctor degree), he was advocating for the rights of students, laborers, the LGBTQIA+ community, and other marginalized sectors. Continuing this desire to be of service to others, he has worked across local and national legislatures, non-profit organizations, and international institutions on issues such as human rights, gender equality, and access to justice, just to name a few. Now, he hopes to serve on a larger scale by protecting one of the major resources of the Philippines for generations to come. In his downtime, Carlo enjoys playing video games and D&D as well as taking care of his two cats.
