LA is a designerstrator (designer + illustrator) – an artist who plays with precise design and visual storytelling.

He earned his Fine Arts degree (major on Advertising Arts) in the University of Santo Tomas, with Latin Honors. With over a decade of experience in graphic design, illustration and hand-lettering, LA produces striking and deeply human visuals which resonate with a range of audiences. In the last 5 years, he has produced creative materials that speak to the experience of families in coastal communities, grassroots organizations and policymakers. You can see his work across printed media, digital pages, and museum exhibits. ​

​LA stays fascinated with the ocean because he grew up beside it. He remembers spending good times along the coast,​
and tries to capture the fondness he feels towards it in his work in Oceana.​
