Oceanographer with an MSc in Environmental Oceanography and experience in fisheries management, environmental and socioeconomic data analysis.

Her professional experience has focused on producing technical knowledge to support evidence-based decision-making and the design and implementation of public policies in the fisheries sector. She has experience working on complex socio-environmental projects, including the management of impacts related to environmental disasters. She has worked at the interface between government institutions, affected communities, civil society organizations, and multidisciplinary technical teams. She worked as a Data Analyst at PMAP MG/ES, specializing in inland fisheries. She contributed to the development and analysis of data for the Fisheries Statistical Yearbook of the Rio Doce Basin, covering both inland and marine environments in the states of Minas Gerais and Espírito Santo for the 2021 and 2022 editions. Additionally, she worked as an Oceanographer at Brazil’s Ministry of Fisheries and Aquaculture, providing technical support for the development of the Fisheries and Aquaculture Management Restructuring Plan (PROPESCA). Passionate about the ocean, she believes in integrating scientific with traditional knowledge to promote the conservation and sustainable use of marine resources.
