Erin joined Oceana as a senior communications manager for the U.S. North Atlantic right whale and responsible fishing campaigns.

Erin’s love for the ocean grew after she joined a marine mammal naturalist training course which inspired her to obtain a master’s degree in marine biodiversity from Scripps Institution of Oceanography with an emphasis in storytelling for conservation issues. Prior to that, she led a 15-year career in television where she produced top-rated shows for networks such as HGTV, Discovery Channel, and Netflix. Before transitioning into unscripted television, Erin held many roles in the media including producing local news, advertising campaigns, and sporting events. She obtained an undergraduate degree from the University of Florida in telecommunications focusing on journalism and television production. When not working, you can find Erin and her husband taste-testing all the amazing food that D.C. has to offer. She also enjoys spoiling her two cats and two nieces.
