Peter joined Oceana as a Senior Development Associate in February 2025.

He holds a Master of Science in Environmental Policy and Sustainability Management from The New School and a Bachelor of Science with a Double Major in History and Management & Business from Skidmore College. Peter has more than four years of experience in fundraising and has worked in the for-profit and non-profit sectors, most recently at The Nature Conservancy and WhyHunger. He is passionate about advancing systemic solutions to protect the world’s oceans and is proud to be able to use his skills and energies to support Oceana’s contribution to this essential endeavor. Peter enjoys cooking, walking in nature, reading, exploring the world of cinema, and recently started learning to play the guitar. He is a diehard New York Mets fan and enjoys watching most sports.
