Graduated in Oceanography from the Federal University of Paraná, UFPR.

During his career, he has worked mainly in research and management policies for fishing activities along the Brazilian coast. He has worked as a consultant in the areas of socioeconomics, fishing technology and fisheries sustainability, to strengthen the connection between fishing communities, scientists and decision-makers. In addition, he has worked as a researcher and collaborator at the TAMAR/ICMBio Center, in ​​fisheries resource management, and as an analyst at PMAP/ES, with an emphasis on fishing statistics and biodiversity monitoring.

Passionate about the ocean and its forms of integration, he seeks to combine experiences with data to contribute to public policies that value traditional knowledge and marine ecosystems.
