Watch: When it comes to ugly fish, makeovers aren’t always a good idea

Ever had a baked fillet of slimehead? What about buttery Patagonian toothfish? These fish might sound disgusting, but they appear on thousands of menus around the world. That’s because they got an appealing rebrand as orange roughy and Chilean sea bass. Glamorous makeovers are fun in the movies, but when it comes to sustainable seafood, do these transformations help or hurt?
