The Science Specialist will be part of a multidisciplinary team that will provide scientific support to our campaign strategies, conduct research and produce documents on cutting-edge issues related to Oceana campaigns, and build the scientific capacity of our team in Mexico.

We achieve measurable change through science, which is the basis for building campaigns to achieve political, legislative and public policy changes in partnership with policymakers, regulators and the communities we work with. Our campaigns extend to countries that, combined, govern nearly one-third of the world’s wild-caught fish, including Belize, Brazil, Chile, Mexico, Peru, the Philippines, the United States, Canada, and the 27 countries in the European Union

The salary range for this position starts at $45,000 MXN per month, depending on the candidate’s profile.
