Gail Tierney | Oceana

Gail Tierney

Field Representative

Oceana Staff

Gail comes to Oceana from a background in marine habitat restoration, comedy, eco-theatre, project management, peace and conflict studies, disability justice, and small-scale regenerative agriculture.

With their own multi-disciplinary approach to climate work, Gail values hearing stories from people in all different disciplines. They think that laughter is the secret sauce, that raccoons know something we should really decipher, and that an uncomfortable, failure-filled, and collectively transformative future is well within our reach. Also, very importantly, seaweed is the coolest, and that’s a stone cold fact.
