Ian is a graduate of the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) where he majored in Communications, with a minor in Information Systems.

Ian also works for his Alma Mater as their staff sports photographer on the weekends. Though he’s in Washington DC, Ian moved from country to country until he was 18 living for 3 years each in India, El Salvador, Tanzania, and Mozambique. His parents live and work in South Africa for the US State Department and he visits them when he can.
