Lindsey Godbout is Oceana’s International Communications Manager based in the Washington, DC headquarters.

Before joining Oceana, Lindsey served as Communications Director for former U.S. Congressman John Sarbanes and worked at Raffetto Herman Strategic Communications in its public affairs practice. She earned her master’s degree in legislative affairs from George Washington University’s Graduate School of Political Management and her bachelor’s degree in public relations from Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications. A Massachusetts native, Lindsey developed a love for the oceans early in life by spending time on the South Shore’s beaches and at the New England Aquarium in Boston. She enjoys hiking, traveling, visiting our national parks, reading, and listening to her favorite podcasts.
