Nancy has over 20 years of Human Resources leadership experience and is a certified senior professional in Human Resources (SPHR).

Her career has primarily been in a Human Resources Generalist capacity, resulting in strong skills and knowledge in HR strategic business partner consulting, talent acquisition, employee development and training, culture work including DEIB, employee relations and compensation/benefits. She brings experience from a range of industries including NGO’s, financial services, media, and international diplomatic organizations.

Nancy has a track record of success in the design and delivery of HR services domestically, regionally, and globally. She has HR experience in all regions of the globe, having supported 51 diplomatic missions for the British Embassy and over 55 countries with NDI. Her prior roles as a Human Resources leader have highlighted her ability to successfully re-engineer the Human Resources function to be in direct alignment with business goals and objectives, with a focus on efficiency, MI, and results. A recent example of this was executing the successful centralization of HR, finance, procurement, and L&D into centers of excellence for North and South America for the British Embassy Foreign Commonwealth Office.

Nancy is passionate about implementing / activating a culture that is highly inclusive and engaging for staff. This has resulted in achieving multiple employers of choice awards for her prior employers.

In her free time, Nancy honors her father, a WWII veteran, through her service as a lead volunteer for Honor Flight. When not serving as a guardian to a veteran on his/her Honor Flight trip to DC, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her two pups. She has been to over 40 countries, and because of her love for the ocean, this includes Maldives, Australia, Belize, Caymans, BVI, Hawaii, and Zanzibar. She is honored to further Oceana’s vision to restore and preserve the ocean’s diverse abundance for generations to come.
