Natalie Pramuk

Marine Scientist

Oceana Staff

Natalie joined Oceana UK as a Marine Scientist in August 2025.

Natalie holds a BSc in Biological Sciences and an MSc in Marine Environmental Management from the University of Exeter, with a research background spanning offshore renewables in the UK, coral reef resilience in the Bahamas, and MPA management in the Maldives. Prior to joining Oceana, she worked to facilitate science communication and public engagement at The Eden Project, with a focus on climate resilience, rewilding, and community capacity-building. She also currently serves as the Finance sub-committee lead and a general member of the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration’s Youth Task Force.

Originally from the US, Natalie fell in love with the Ocean when she moved to Cornwall and has been driven since by a passion to protect and restore it.

Natalie loves to travel and spend time in the sea – snorkelling, surfing, and checking in with her fishy friends.
