As Editor, Sarah Holcomb oversees Oceana’s tri-annual magazine, annual report, and international blog.
She discovered her passion for journalism during long (but fun) nights of editing the student newspaper at Wheaton College (IL), where she graduated with a B.A. in Communication and certificates in Journalism and Human Needs & Global Resources. Sarah has since focused her writing on environmental issues and is committed to bringing stories about the challenges, issues, and opportunities facing our planet — especially our oceans — to the forefront. When she isn’t writing, Sarah enjoys photography, podcasts, and nature walks around Washington D.C.
