The Legal and Policy Specialist, working for the Oceana office in the Philippines will assist the Campaign, Legal & Policy Senior Director in representing Oceana’s positions and objectives to government officials, media, civil society and other partners. The LPS will provide legal and policy expertise to support the development of campaign strategies in the areas of regulations and policies related to ocean conservation and sustainable use of marine resources.

As a Legal and Policy Specialist, you will be a key member of our team, working to influence and shape ocean conservation policies. You will assist with legal analysis and advice, provide campaign support, and create reports and documentation.

Ideal candidates will have a law degree, a background in policy work, especially environmental policy and previous experience dealing with government agencies.
