With more than 18 years of professional experience and having lived abroad for a long time, she has a doctorate/PhD in Communication from the University of Brasília (UnB/FAC), where she graduated as a journalist, and a master’s degree in France and Italy under the Comundus/Erasmus Mundus program, with an EU scholarship.

For three years, she has worked with Environmental and Sustainability Communication, topics that have become her passion. She served as Head of Corporate Communication in charge of implementing new projects and managing multidisciplinary teams, in addition to working with strategic planning and digital marketing.

She also has extensive experience with press relations, executive editing of publications, and content creation for different platforms on topics related to sustainability, environmental conservation, science, technology, education, innovation, among others.

She was a Professor of Journalism for more than four years, and she has recently taught an MBA course at Getúlio Vargas Foundation (FGV).

As a member of Oceana’s board of directors, she believes that Communication is an essential area for achieving results, engaging and promoting awareness and change at a time when action is urgently needed to protect the oceans and defend life on our blue planet. And it is precisely at sea that she renews and energizes herself. Her first name lives up to the passion and admiration she acquired for the oceans and marine life as a child.
