Michelle joined Oceana’s Grants and Budgets team in 2024 where she supports grant financial management and reporting.

Prior to Oceana, Michelle held similar financial management roles with other non-profit organizations supporting humanitarian initiatives, disaster relief, economic development, health, and environmental sustainability. She also has a Master of Science in Finance degree from Bentley University.

Michelle grew up in San Diego, California where she learned to scuba dive in the beautiful pacific kelp forests. Since then, she has lived in 7 different countries on 5 different continents and is a self-proclaimed nomad. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, baking, reading, dancing, watching football, and exploring the world.
