On April 9, over 231 guests attended Sea Song, Oceana’s first major fundraiser in Mexico City to celebrate the first year anniversary of Oceana’s Mexican office. The event took place at the renowned Auditorio Nacional, where the audience sat on the stage and the performers appeared in the surrounding seating area, making for an unusual and magical evening. Guests were welcomed by Board Member Gaz Alazraki and musician and actor Miguel Bosé. Comedian, Sofia Niño de Rivera emceed the evening featuring compelling speeches by Ted Danson, David Rockefeller, Andy Sharpless, and Pedro Zapata. The evening was capped with intimate and breathtaking performances by Ximena Sariñana, Benny Ibarra and the Puebla’s Symphony Orchestra.
